Caulking and Sealants

Above-grade waterproofing with caulking and sealants is a structure's first line of defense against the elements. Caulking and Sealant products used are specifically selected for the protection that is needed.

Building Cleaning

Effective cleaning of masonry on building exteriors is critical for two reasons, it enhances the overall appearance of the building and it removes the source of potentially damaging elements. Building cleaning methods include pressurized applications of water, chemicals, wet aggregate and soda blasting.

Repointing

Repointing is the process of replacing deteriorated mortar between masonry units. Once the old mortar is removed mechanically or by hand, fresh mortar is placed into the joint cavity and then the joint is tooled.

Chemical Grout

Chemical grouts are materials which mix readily with water at the time of application. As such, chemical grout provides good penetration of wet joints, cracks and surrounding soil. Chemical grout reacts with the water to form a waterproof solid, stopping the water that is infiltrating the building or structure.

Concrete Repair and Leveling

Concrete restoration involves everything from the repair of concrete slabs to the replacement of concrete walkways, patios, slabs, walls, etc. We can do the total restoration job to meet your needs. We apply conservation principles and processes for the preservation, restoration or reconstruction of buildings, as appropriate, particularly if they have historical value.

Elastomeric Coatings

Elastomeric coating is a thick, rubberized paint product relatively high in acrylic content. Generally water-based, it creates a waterproof membrane between stucco or masonry substrate and outside elements. With 300% elasticity, this coating can bridge cracks up to 1/8" wide when applied properly.

Epoxy & Urethane Floor Coatings

Epoxy and Urethane coatings are often used on floors because of their reputation for toughness and durability from abrasion, heavy traffic and chemicals.

Expansion Joint Systems

Expansion and control joints are incorporated into a structure to accommodate expansion and contraction forces. Restoring expansion joint integrity is essential to the entire structure. Whenever joints are damaged, deteriorated or improperly sealed, eventually expansion joint systems fail to perform their intended mission.

Epoxy Injection

Epoxy Injection is a bonding process used to repair a wide variety of concrete and masonry structures. The material not only fills cracks, but welds them together structurally with an epoxy that is forced through the crack under pressure and forms a bond that is stronger than the concrete itself.

Parking Deck Restoration

Parking garages are significant investments that require care and maintenance. Each Parking garage is an integration of components functioning together as one. All systems must be in good repair in order to maximize the life of the structure. Restoration and waterproofing are key elements to extending the life of parking decks and parking garages.

Shotcreting

Shotcrete is sprayed concrete or mortar. In the wet mix process all the ingredients, including water, are premixed. The mix is then pumped to the nozzle where compressed air blows it into the substrate. Shotcrete has a wide range of uses - casting new structures, swimming pools, sculpting waterscapes, lining tunnels and ditche, paving slopes and complex shapes such as skateboard parks and earth retaining structures, strengthening and repairing existing structures of all types, providing fireproofing and chemical protection to steel, and construction of tanks, basement walls (underground parking facilities) and any other place that can not be formed and poured. The use of shotcrete to build new concrete structures as well as to restore and repair existing structures is well known and documented.
